When a production-hosted website is accessed, the hosting provider may technically process server-log data such as IP address, access time, requested resource, referrer, browser and operating-system information. This supports secure and reliable website operation.

2. Contact and RFQ data

If you contact BANIX or submit a quotation request, data may include your name, company, email address, telephone number, country, product/machine context, quantity, technical information, message and files you provide.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Processing may be necessary to answer enquiries and take pre-contractual steps or perform contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), pursue legitimate interests in secure website operation and efficient B2B communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or, where required, on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Recipients and international cooperation

Data may be disclosed to IT, hosting and email service providers and, where required for a specific enquiry or order, to suitable manufacturing, logistics or other service partners. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law must be used.

This website uses no Google Analytics, advertising or marketing trackers. Fonts, images and videos are served with the website. The quotation selection uses functional localStorage in your browser. Selected products are sent only when you submit the enquiry.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable statutory conditions, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as withdrawal of consent for the future. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

8. Data security

The website uses HTTPS for transmission. Access to enquiries is managed through the BANIX hosting and email accounts. Please contact BANIX before sending particularly confidential drawings.

Hosting and enquiry processing

Netlify, Inc. provides website hosting and receives and stores submitted enquiry fields and attachments through Netlify Forms. Notification emails are delivered to info@banix.de, whose mailbox is operated through Google Workspace/Gmail. File uploads are not part of the public website; Netlify can provide file download links in submission notifications. Do not forward these links to unauthorized recipients.

Provider processing can take place outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Netlify describes the applicable processing arrangements and transfer safeguards in its Data Processing Agreement. Netlify DPA.
