BANIX / FAQ

General enquiries

What does BANIX do?
BANIX is a Germany-based B2B trading and sourcing partner. We coordinate sourcing enquiries, technical clarification, quotations and international deliveries for industrial components.
Which industrial product groups can BANIX source?
Our portfolio covers industrial belts, pulleys, gears, sprockets, selected industrial motor enquiries, textile machinery components, spindles, aprons, cots, sliver cans, paper cones, industrial paper packaging and drawing-based components. Each request is reviewed for feasibility and suitable supply options.
Is BANIX a manufacturer?
No. BANIX acts as an industrial trading and sourcing partner. Manufacturing, when required, is arranged with appropriate external production sources; feasibility and specifications must be confirmed for each project.
Can BANIX source products not listed on the website?
You can enquire about components outside the published portfolio. Send the application or part reference and we will assess whether sourcing is feasible. A request does not imply guaranteed availability.
How do I request a quotation (RFQ)?
Use our request form and provide your company, contact email, destination country, product description and technical requirements. Include the quantity, part number or a drawing when available.
Can I attach technical drawings or CAD files?
The enquiry form lists PDF, image, DWG, DXF and STEP uploads, with up to five files and 7 MB total. Share only drawings you are authorized to disclose; arrange a suitable secure exchange before sending confidential designs.
Which technical details help BANIX assess a request?
Useful information includes dimensions, materials, tolerances, application, operating conditions, machine reference, desired quantity and destination. The necessary detail depends on the product family.
Can I request a sample before ordering?
Samples may be possible, depending on the product, specification and sourcing arrangements. Please enquire first; availability, costs and shipment conditions require individual confirmation.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Minimum quantities depend on product type, manufacturing requirements and customization. Send your intended quantity so the applicable options can be assessed.
Why are there no fixed prices on the website?
Industrial quotations depend on dimensions, material, configuration, quantity, destination and agreed commercial terms. BANIX therefore confirms prices for the specific enquiry rather than publishing general price promises.
What is the expected lead time?
Lead time varies with the selected product, quantity, production requirements and route. We discuss an estimated schedule during the quotation process; no general delivery time is guaranteed.
Can BANIX coordinate international delivery?
BANIX handles enquiries involving international procurement and delivery coordination. Available destinations, trade terms, logistics and any applicable regulatory restrictions are assessed for each transaction.
Where can I find product datasheets?
Selected product information and downloadable documents are available in the BANIX Technical Library. Final technical data must be verified against the offered configuration.
Does every product have the same certificates or approvals?
No general certificate or approval should be assumed across product families. State your documentation requirements in the RFQ so the relevant product-specific evidence can be checked before quotation or order.
How do I contact BANIX?
For technical enquiries, use the online RFQ form or email sales@banix.de. Include the relevant product and company information.
